Muscle Pulled

I finally made my trip down to the clinic. Reason being, my stomach has been hurting so much and the pain just won't go even after two days.

Doc: Are you having mestruation now?
Me: No.
Doc: Diarrhoea?
Me: No.
Doc: Vomitting?
Me: No.
Doc: Any constipation?
Me: No.

I thought I saw the doc look confused for a bit. Hah. Then he said that it could be some sorta muscle pull. For a brief bimbotic moment, I wondered if there are any muscles at the stomach area. Lol. And when I told him that my workout mostly comprises of jogging and sit-ups, he concluded that the latter must have been the cause of this terrible muscle pull in my stomach.

Even then I still can't help feeling a teeny-weeny bit doubtful. How can sit-ups strain your stomach much? It's not like I did a lot as compared to my sec school days when I did almost a hundred daily. I'm doing barely half of that nowadays (yes, I've slacked too much), so how could it be so bad ehh?

Anywho, the doc's diagnosis made me feel a wee bit better. Coz prior to the visit to the clinic, I had a whole lot of wild thoughts going through my head. I really thought I was gonna be in for the worse. The thoughts of needles and the operation room kept clouding my head. I was so paranoid lahhh. Haha. I am hoping that the medicine will help ease the pain and that it will just disappear in a week.

By the way, it was my dad's birthday on wed (before I got the whole stomach pain thingy). We celebrated it at my workplace and my mum invited some of our close relatives along. Bought a nuttela cake from polar. I don't quite fancy the cake coz even though the taste was pretty good, the whole hard choc on top of the cake was such a turn off. It made cake cutting and poking of candles so difficult. Bleah.

Work, Play, Exercise

Wowww, I finally get to make my rounds at the stadium today, after missing out on it for five days straight, no thanks to the gloomy weather. It sure seems like as if everybodyelse must have felt a huge sense of relief - that they could finally get their evening jogs back in motion coz there were more people than usual at the stadium today. Ooohh, I saw Tiger cozying up with the people at the grandstand and he's no longer limping. Awwwhhh.

Work has been pretty bumpy. Uhmm yeahh... I got a job already. Four-hours-a-day-five-days-a-week. It is so slack. BUT! My job requires me to deal with food. Hah. I never thought I would ever dabble in the F&B biz as a part timer. But it was too good a deal. Especially for a lazy ass like me who don't wanna have to deal with jobs requiring such long hours. And did I say super SLACK? Yeahhhh. Well, of course the lunch time crowd can get crazy. And I do still have problems communicating with the people. Plus, I get really jittery whenever I have to deal with the cash register. Even then, it's just so slack! Ookayy, not really slack lahhh but I just like to think that it is. Like four hours is just really short so that's why I think that it's so slackerumm.

Anyway, anywayssss. Amazing race tonight! Dallas is so hawwttttt! I hope the frat bros get booted out. I'd never seen guys sooooo bimbotic like them. SERIOUSLY. Still they are kinda entertaining to watch, though it is really agonizing to watch them trip over the little-st of things. You just feel like thrashing their heads munnnnn. Ha ha. I don't really know who I'm rooting for anymore. The remaining groups are awesummm.

Ok I'm off. Need to print some assignments. Toodlesss.

Fad's Very Belated Birthday Celebration

Birthday girl with present and an ASSORTMENT of cakes. Creative betol. LOL.

The destructive duo and Fad.

Fad reading the "love letter" from us.
Imma, Fad & Me.
Make a wish and blow the candle.
She can finish up two ventis in a matter of minutes. Guard your drinks people!
Second part of the day at Popeye's at the Singapore Flyer.
Yet again, Fad and the VERY destructive duo.
Carnivore siols!
Back at Marina Square after being crazily attacked by flies at the outdoor area at Popeye's. We had a couple of games of daytona. And after which we caught a sesame street showcase. I was never a huge fan of sesame street when I was a kid by the way. Had always preferred Barney. Hehe.
Third part of the day. Hung out at the newly-opened starbucks at citylink. That was where the destructive duo got a very good view of an incredibly CHEAPSKATE entertainment.
Imma step jambu as usual. Nurul trying to do whatever Fad's doing.
FAD-nex having to face a very difficult customer.
More pictures below...!

Imma wanna rob Fad off the birthday vouchers we gave her.
Our present for Fad...
...along with this freakish alien we picked up from the longkang.
On the way home...

I guess there's more to be said about the whole day's worth of meet-up. Like the amount of glitches that cropped up in trying to make the surprise work. That Nurul and Imma are not exactly good partners in crime. Kekekeke. But it was worth it lahh. Lotsa cheap thrills and catching up. From being attacked by the flies, to saving our ass from the scrawny lizard on the very low ceiling at the toilet, to coming face to face with weird-ass couples. And of course, my horrid encounter with a very large mondok near the bustop that I alighted from on my way home. I had to take a bloody long detour coz the mondok was so slow and was moving in circles. Not exactly 100% GM attendance but I do think that we'll be able to make up for it sometimes soon or perhaps on the 30th for Imma's wedding invite.

Update

The whole Jonestown tragedy keep playing up in my head. It's really incomprehensible. It gets even more eerie that you can find videos of Jim Jones himself speaking -the person responsible for the death of some nine hundred over people. Plus I read a transcript of an audiotape recording, where Jim Jones was trying to convince his followers to commit the suicide revolution. It's just so crazy. I can't believe it happened. It's horrible. And looking at the pictures I found on the net made it even more disturbing for me. I should stop reading about it. I really should.

Exam tomorrow.

Jonestown

Youtube-ing, wikipedia-ing and google-ing the horrific massacre sent overwhelming chills down my spine. It's really unbelievable. I only found out about this devastating event through the front page of msn.com, marking the 30th years since the whole tragedy took place in november 18, 1978.

Problem At Friendster

What caused this problem?
There was a building-wide power outage at the QTS / Globix data center in Sunnyvale, California, USA where Friendster’s servers are co-located, along with about 50 other customers. As a result, the memory caching of data was affected. Since Friendster has 85 million users, the cache is taking a considerable amount of time to build. Once the cache has been completely built, all friends will re-appear.

LOL. If only our real life is like that.

Webcamming

These are the only few pictures I could afford to sift out, out of the hundred over pictures we took. Yeahhhh, we are kinda CRAZY. And surely those people at starbucks felt the same way too. Haha!

Sometimes This Title Box Makes Me Brain Dead

What dumb luck... I was so geared up to read a chapter from my text for my latest assignment, only to find out, when I've completed reading THE WHOLE CHAPTER, that I was on the wrong one. Lol. Next time, please read the worksheet carefully ayyy. Just because it's assignment 11, it does not mean that the questions asked are based on chapter 11. Though it has been for the past few assignments I'd done. As in, the assignment number corresponds to the chapter number from my text. It's just that they decided to skip a whole chapter from the book. So chapter 12 was brought forward to assignment 11. So the whole mix-up made me pseudo-hardworking. Rightttttt.

Now what else should I talk about? Hmm...oh yes. The year's coming to an end. Yeah, like so fast man! So I was thinking of embarking on Project De-Clutter-ized. To sort out the clutter of my photo collection to be exact, especially the ones taken this year. Have them backed-up and burned on a cd or upload them on photo servers. So that I can make space for many many more photos to come. Heh. Me think, that me should also consolidate them all and turn in into a blog post with all the photos placed chronologically. Hah. Me and my bombastic plan. I guess putting them according to the dates won't be a problem, but recalling the events is gonna be a bit tough. What more, a whole bunch of the pics are really those mindless shiok-sendiri types. Kekeke.

In other news, I finally brought my comp out for a walk. As it turns out the batt life was sucha letdown. But I managed to fool around with the webcam with Imma. And took some bapok videos. Will post it up...soon? Or maybe someday... One last thing, in celebration of the upcoming festive season, you should head on down to starbucks and drown your sorrows or happiness or whatever emotions with lots and lots of toffee nut frappucino. Or anything toffee nut for that matter. I swear it's so so good!
