Peanut Butter Cookies
I finally got around to do some baking. Plain peanut butter cookies. The result was pretty a-ok. It was a rather simple recipe anyway. But the amount of sugar in the cookies are absolutely crazy. If I'm gonna bake another batch, I'd probably have to half the quantity of sugar from its original recipe. Next up, peanut butter chocolate cookies (yess, I'm going on a peanut butter overdrive this season) and snickerdoodles. Oh, I'm gonna be heading for a second trip to JB one of these days before raya. Very exciting arhh. Hah.

Pre-Festivities
OMG, I am so tired. Just came back from JB awhile ago. We broke our fast at the parking lot of my block, whilst unloading our loot from my uncle's car. Haha. I have to say, the array of goods they have at JB is hardly exhaustive. And somehow the atmosphere is far better, as compared to the bazzar at geylang. I thought I would have all the energy to comb through the whole shopping place, unfortunately, I kept yawning away once we reached there. Felt supremely lethargic. And the colourful drinks they have on roadside stalls are bloody tempting mannnn. I tried to look for my raya outfit there. I TRIED. It's a futile attempt, sadly. The one and only outfit I got so attracted to had mismatched sizings. The top is a size L, which fit me nicely, the bottom is a size M, which threatened to burst at its seams when I triedto tug it down my thighs. Aww mann, it's like the prettiest of the whole freaking lot and I couldn't buy it. Argghhh. Raided the sushi counter at Giant next. I am very certain that me and my bro piled high the goodies on the plate. A hell lot of them. But as it turns out, it's actually VERY little. Sucha waste. Should have doubled the quantity. I managed to get my mum to buy a case of those rolled jellies which I really looovee. We mostly spend on crackers and frozen foodstuffs and there were some donuts and gums and magazines (cheap!). ALL THAT cost me to missed out on the delivery of my online-shopping goodies. So I'm gonna have to call the post office to request for a re-delivery. Blahhhh.

Fluid Speed
Everyday for sahur, I gotta battle my way into finishing up a 500ml bottle of water. It's a battle, coz I'd always feel like puking my guts out after sucessfully downing the entire content. And feeling so bloated after that. If not for being very paranoid (of not being able to survive without having substantial amount of fluid in my body), I wouldn't bother. Plus my lips gets so cracked and dried so easily, the only two lip balms I've got are utterly useless. One's on the verge of a nervous breakdown, the other is watermelon. So what if that does not make sense..?
Last night, I watched with great curiosity, those cones dotting the first lane at the main road. It could be anything. Late night construction work etc etc. But I just hadta conclude that it was a speed trap, seeing that nearly all the vehicles slowed down when approaching the takeoff line. I don't know where the takeoff line is to be exact. I'm just guessing it's the point near the taffic light. Where speed demons pile up on their gear power and letting their cars give out that incredibly high-pitched shriek just to prove their prowess. Close enough to allow anybody living on the 25th floor about 800m away to hear them that is.
Ok, so I watched with much amusement as all the vehicles slowed down upon reaching the area with those cone barricades. I even managed to capture them on video but thanks to my camm's lacklustre quality, there's really nothing much to show. Just the darkness and moving lights, as in headlights. Why am I so keen into believing that it's a speed trap? Coz lately those loud shrill coming from the speed demons whizzing past the main road has not only gotten unbearable, but it has somehow increased, making its guest appearance almost everyday. I'd like to think some irate residents have made a complaint or something. Then there are times when I wish that I could actually witness those superpowers make a double flip right before my eyes. Speed trap or not, I don't know for sure. I woke up for sahur only to see that the cone barricades had already been removed.
Of course getting my mind so meddled up with what's going on, on the road, ended up in me getting the weirdest dream ever. I dreamt of a massive roadblock at my neighbourhood area. Coz there was some important events going on. Or something...? Ayy, like what event could be supremely important in the heartland ehhh? They made use of ropes to cordon the roads from any incoming vehicles. Yes, ROPES. What the hell. Haha!

If You Bother To Read My Blog That Is
Staying up late last night to study the internal organs of the computer was epic madness. Why would I wanna bother myself with all the tech details ayy? As long as I can gain access to all my favourite websites and download Gossip Girl.
Oh speaking of GG, it took me so bloody long to get the latest episode downloaded. I believe the whole world was trying to get their hands on the latest one. I used to be able to have it up and running in less than half a day. Sucha drag.
Where was I? Ahh yes, tech details and all the stuffz that I'm supposed to understand which is really really redundant. Though I can understand where they are coming from. I mean the whole complications of setting up the internal organs and having them fine-tuned to its optimal glory. All the codes and stuffs were mind-boggling! I guess, it's only appropriate that the rest of mankind gain a reasonable amount of understanding. A leverage of some sort. Maybe.
Still, having to pore through the whole chapter and knowing that I'm gonna be tested on all the technical jargons, is hardly understandable. I learn and I shall forget. So what's the point?! At least the next chapter won't kill me so bad. So I'm making that my motivation to get rid of the current dreadful topic I'm on.
Moving on, I can't believe that the second half season for The Secret Life of The American Teenager would only be aired next year! That is such a freaking long waiting time man. I like the show despite the very predictable themes it revolves around. Teen pregnancy, boy-girl relationship, friendship woes. And the mandatory male jackass and bitchy teen girl characters that has always been the staple for most tv shows revolving around a school-ish setup. Even then, it pales in comparison to Gossip Girl. GG will always be the ultimate moral destruction phenomenon. Despite it all, I'm in love with it. Hah.
Last but not least, I was finally able to meet up with Ting on wednesday after so long. We headed to TSC at the airport. There's like 600 over items to choose from and yet I ended up choosing the most disgusting of the lot. Noodle soup with hotdog?! Tastless form of instant noodles. I love the milk tea though, and the thick toast topped with peanut butter and condensed milk. For all that simplistic fare, 10% service charge wasn't fitting. We had to write our orders on our own anyway. Still it was good being able to catch up with Ting after so bloody long. Not that you read my blog but thanks for the Adidas bag!
Come sunday, I'll be meeting up with Has to break fast at Madjack. Woweee, I'd been wanting to go there since like forever! Plus it's been quite awhile since I'd met Has also. A bit of catching up, tons of unhealthy food. Ironically, my diet tend to hit rock bottom during the fasting month. Not that it bothers me much anyway.
Till then.

OMG
OMG, I just sent out invites to my ENTIRE email address book to join Twitter. That includes the person I liased with for my edu bank loan, and the school's academic consultant. You don't do that hokay. Not under any circumstances do you make random invites. Especially not to those who should be rendered a different set of protocol altogether. OMG, I'm such a bubble head.
