Travel Across

Post D-day onslaught was...well, not much of a violent one. I had dreaded getting results this week only because my mum had planned on a kenduri the day after results day. And I was rather apprehensive of what I'm gonna have to say should people ask me about my results. It's not the "what are your grades?" question that threw me off, it's the "what do you plan to do next?" question that had me tripping. Anyhow, everybody was positive about it overall. "Just further your studies." That's the most common advice I got.

Can you believe that I'd not taken another glance at my results slip since Friday? It's stuck in the midst of all those local universities (argh, screw them) booklets and brochures. Of which I had not read either. Talk about closure mann. Haha.

Oh and the kenduri was actually meant for my family's departure for umrah on the 15th. Seriously, the upcoming trip is so much more nerve-wrecking than awaiting the release of results. I am not sure how it's gonna turn out. And I am still not certain how the procedure goes exactly. Sure I've attended all the preparatory classes but the thought of doing it for real...and at the holy land itself, is definitely gonna be so much more than mere theory could ever justify. It's giving me the jitters coz I am afraid that I may jumble everything up. I am looking forward to the trip very much and I pray that no mishap would happen throughout the journey. Besides all that, I am definitely looking forward to my VERY FIRST plane ride too. Yeah man, I get my first plane ride only when I'm about to turn 21. How sad eh? Lol.
