My Top 25

It just so happens that ipods keep track of the number of times any particular songs are being played. So here's the lowdown of my top twenty-five.

1) Treat Me Right - Backstreet Boys (144 play count)
A one of a kind BSB tune. I had visions of bodybuilders with a ponytail bobbing their heads to this tune. Seriously, DO NOT ask why.

2) I'll Be Alright - Anggun (138 play count)
I have to say, Anggun is like my super hero already. Well, at least her songs are. My life have never really been in shambles but this tune made me feel good almost all the time, regardless of the circumstances.

3) Something That I Already Know - Backstreet Boys (106 play count)
Coz I know that I'd get sick and tired of playing Treat Me Right over and over again, so I made myself fell in love with this song, as a kind of temporary diversion, as and when I need it. My one for one deal. Hah.

4) Change (Vinnie Jones Intro) - Joss Stone (99 play count)
This track is not exactly a song. More of a motivational spoken track. "We sometimes regard it as a metaphor that reflects the way things ought to be..."

5) Arms Of My Baby - Joss Stone (88 play count)
Actually, I got hooked to this song before I started paying attention to No. 4. The thing about this song, I love the rhythm but I hardly ever pay attention to the lyrics.

6) Alone - Celine Dion (71 play count)
Everyone knows what supreme powerhouse vocals that Celine Dion posesses. But I love this song so much even though it's just a cover version. I heard the one from the original group, Heart who sang this song, and also a rendition by Carrie Underwood. But the one sang by Celine Dion is really exceptional. The best of them all yawww.

7) Never Stop - Hilary Duff (70 play count)
My ultimate jog tune because somewhere in the middle of the song, Hilary Duff kinda chants "never stop, never stop, never stop, never stop...". Oooohh yeahhh, just the right kinda tune to keep me going especially when I'm so wiped out, halfway through my jogging session.

8) Ten Feet High - Andrea Corr (56 play count)
The only song I like from Andrea Corr's album. A song about heartbreak and drifting apart.

9) Devil In My Mind - Anggun (55 play count)
One upbeat tune that I'll never get tired of. I pretty much love the "attitude" in this song. Go find the lyrics if you wanna know why.

10) On My Way - Phil Collins (54 play count)
Motivational, Inspirational. Phil Collins always sings the best of such tunes.

11) Cinta Terakhir - Ari Lasso (52 play count)
Like finally a malay tune ayyy. I was really really slow in finding out about this song man. It's like so last season. Haha!

12) Children - Robert Miles (52 play count)
I've been saving this tune for my hot pink retractable hard top convertible. Though I can't believe that I'd only play it 52 times! C'mon man, I swear I played this song A MILLION TIMES!

13) Can't Fight The Feeling - Celine Dion (51 play count)
"Love, love, love...and John Lennon says that was all you need..."

14) Helpless When She Smiles - Backstreet Boys (49 play count)
I half expected Something I Already Know to be BSB's second single for their latest album. But this song came out though.

15) With Love - Hilary Duff (49 play count)
I feel in love with Hilary Duff all over again because of this song and the video that came along with it and also the fact that she's gotten so much hotter.

16) Suddenly I See - KT Tunstall (49 play count)
Took me awhile to find the title of this song after hearing it from the intro in the movie, Devil Wears Prada. It's liberating, both lyrical and musical. Another ultimate jog tune.

17) Look Into Yourself - Anggun (47 play count)
The first few songs from Anggun that I'd fallen in love with even till today.

18) Open Your Heart - Anggun (46 play count)
A french movie soundtrack, I think.

19) Look Through My Eyes - Phil Collins (46 play count)
Yep, motivational and inspirational too.

20) Any Other Way - Backstreet Boys (45 play count)
I really don't know how this song made it tops in my ipod. I don't like it that much ayyy.

21) One Night In Bangkok - Murray Head (45 play count)
If not for the sickening intro which eats up 1 min and 47 seconds of the song, this tune would have made it to the number one spot. Haha.

22) Apologize (feat One Republic) - Timbaland (43 play count)
I just had to find out the title of this song after hearing it on Gossip Girl. Ya know the episode when Serena had a conflict with her grandmother and how Lily finally learned to be less judgemental of Dan.

23) Unsuspecting Sunday Afternoon - Backstreet Boys (41 play count)
Not exactly an ear worm but nice any ways.

24) Fade Away - Celine Dion (40 play count)
Yet another jog tune.

25) Snow On The Sahara - Anggun (39 play count)
"If your hope scatter like the dust across your track, I'll be the moon that shines on your path, the sun may blind our eyes I'll pray the skies above, for snow to fall on the sahara. If that's the only place where you can leave your doubts, I'll hold you up and be your way out and if we burn away I'll pray the skies above, for snow to fall on the sahara..."
