Old School and Legends

I am so elated now that my month-long term at mango is over, I can't make myself go to bed yet. I'd actually plan to go for a jog later but I dunno man...I probably won't be able to hear the alarm clock ring if I don't get my sleep NOW.

I really miss the stadium hokay. I've not been working out for for one full month now. Saved for that one day when I'd begrudgingly dragged myself down to the tracks in the morning, and that had me totally zonked out on the job. Made even worse coz I was on the late shift where work ends at ten.

Ok ok, I should get my sleep.

But first, just let me tell you some something something. Haha.

Like it took me forever to break the ice with my colleagues that I only found out, on my LAST DAY, that two of the full time staff there were actually my seniors back in secondary school! Gawwwdddd, I am that horrible man. I swear I've a major difficulty when it comes to extending my social network. It sucks like that. But I am really afraid of people. Haa.

So when I got home, I flipped through a couple of dusty secondary school yearbook. And then I saw the class photos of my two colleagues. And then I got really nostalgic when I saw MY class photo in the yearbooks. It sure brought back a lot of memories. Though I tend to get wary when it comes to talking about my secondary school days. I mean, I love the school a lot but the experiences I had to go through doesn't quite add up. I faced too many conflicting issues with myself and most of the time I was really in my own world. And it's weird talking about it now coz I do believe that I have moved away from that phase. Well of course there could possibly still be some remnants left in me...it's just hard to describe...

Moving on.

I'd been browsing Bon Jovi's videos on youtube. The justification of legendary musicians...proven by the different time and period when they sang the same song, and yet still make it sound true to its original take. It's really captivating. I watched one of the Living On A Prayer videos presumably the very first one, and then I proceeded to watch the one recorded in 1995 - a live concert in London, and then one in 2000 and yet another recorded in 2008 - concert in Japan. All showmanship maintained the same energetic vibe, and all sounded very much the same to the original one. I shall find some time to embed all the videos soon.

Till then, I'm off (and happily unemployed).
